New Zealand sailors picked up two medals at the Princess Sofia regatta at Palma de Majorca in Spain yesterday - including Olympic gold medallist Tom Ashley.
Boardsailor Ashley collected silver, while Michael Bullot was third in the Laser competition.
There were also top-10 finishes for another three crews, with Andrew Murdoch sixth and Josh Junior 10th in the Laser class, while Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie were fifth in the women's 470.
Ashley was sixth in the medal race, which was enough to lift him into the silver medal spot after early regatta leader Shahar Zubari finished eighth.
Ashley's result saw him overtake Zubari in the standings and just edge out Dorian Van Rijsselberghe, of the Netherlands, who finished strongly to take bronze.
Bullot entered the Laser class medal race in third position and his third placing was enough to secure bronze.
Spain's Javier Hernandez won gold ahead of Croatia's Tonci Stipanovic.
