Movistar led the round-the-world yacht race 5345 nautical miles from the finish of the fourth leg from Wellington to Rio de Janeiro. Brasil 1, 178 nautical miles behind Movistar, is the most northerly boat. ABN Amro Two is also positioned to the north. The rest of the fleet, which chose the southerly option, are facing an upwind slog of 150 nautical miles to reach latitude 48 degrees. ABN Amro One is second, nine nautical miles behind movistar and Pirates of the Caribbean third 16 miles behind.
