Yachting: Minoprio into semifinals

New Zealand's world yachting match-racing champion Adam Minoprio and his Black Match team have scraped into the semifinals of round four of the 2010 world series in Portimao, Portugal.

After the team had showed mixed form during the week, Minoprio dispatched Mathieu Richard, of France, 3-1 to secure a semifinal spot, edging past the Frenchman in the final 50m of the fourth race.
