Kiwi Josh Junior produced two top performances to sit second overall in the Laser world yachting championship at Hayling Island off England yesterday.
Junior won the day's opening race and then finished second in the next to sit behind Croatia's Luka Redilic.
New Zealand has a strong presence in the top 10, with Mike Bullot third after finishing fifth and 13th yesterday and Andrew Murdoch ninth after finishing 11th and second.
Andy Maloney is 12th overall, James Sandall 21st, Sam Meech 27th and Max Andrews 42nd.
