Dominant Kiwi 49er duo Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have a comfortable lead in their fleet after the opening day's races at the European Championships.
They've won two of the three races on day one and finished second in the other and are well out in front of their nearest Austrian rivals.
In the women's 49erFX, Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech sit fifth after a mixed opening day.
After winning the opening race, the Kiwis placed fourth in two of the day's other races and fifth in the fourth and last.
