Yachting: Brasil 1 wins with one leg of race to go

In a close-fought finish Brasil 1 won the penultimate leg of the round-the-world yacht race beating Mike Sanderson's ABN Amro One by just three minutes and 10 seconds.

Brasil 1 battled it out with Ericsson and ABN Amro One all the way from the top of Scotland. Ericsson finished third, Pirates of the Caribbean fourth, Brunel fifth and ABN Amro Two sixth.

The final in-port race took place this morning. The final leg, a sprint to Gothenberg, starts on Friday.
