The daughter of the late Sir Peter Blake will follow in her father's footsteps when she sails in this year's Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht race - the same trip her father made 25 years ago.
Sarah Jane Blake is part of a crew that will set sail from Sydney on Boxing Day on the Lion New Zealand yacht.
It is the same yacht that her late father and a number of other well-known Kiwis sailed on to win the race in 1984.
Yesterday, Ms Blake joined Conrad Gundry and Sam Cray - whose fathers Simon Gundry and Godfrey Cray were also part of the winning team 25 years ago - to see the yacht off at the Viaduct in Auckland City, before they head to Australia some time soon.
