Prince Harry and former NZSAS Corporal Willie Apiata have reunited with a hongi at the Invictus Games in Toronto today.
The young royal was in the audience at a rowing event where Apiata was reportedly competing.
The pair have met before in London at a 2014 remembrance service for veterans. Apiata holds a Victoria Cross for New Zealand for bravery under fire during the war in Afghanistan in 2004.
All competitors in the Invictus games are military veterans, many with life-changing injuries suffered during combat.
Earlier Apiata performed a haka in honour of Whangarei navy officer Dan Crawford who won New Zealand's first medal at the games, coming third in the IT7 400m event.
