The New Zealand women's team has inflicted its second defeat over Japan in a week in the FINA World Water Polo League in Auckland last night winning 11-10. Emily Cox and Amy Logan scored three goals each for New Zealand. The team remain alive in the race for one of the two spots from the Asia/Pacific region for next month's World Super League finals in Russia.
