Raw footage from Tahiti shows the terrifying moment a surfer was wiped out by a giant wave.
The helpless surfer falls just as the huge wave is about to ferociously come crashing down on top of them.
You can see the moment the surfer separates from their board and is left at the mercy of mother nature.
