Johnny Sexton gave a dominant performance in Ireland's Six Nations finale as the team recorded a 35-25 win over Scotland.
But while Sexton orchestrated the four-try win, a lot of people outside Ireland focused on one particular incident midway through the second half. As the out-half tried to poach a ball at the breakdown, Scottish centre Alex Dunbar flipped him dangerously past the horizontal and onto his back.
Sexton initially threw his hands up towards the referee in protest before clutching his head, with many former players voicing their disappointment with the playmaker for his 'football' reaction. While there is no doubt that Dunbar's challenge was reckless, equally evident is that Sexton overreacted.
