Wellington prop Tolu Fahamokioa was sent from the field in last night's Mitre 10 Cup defeat to Waikato following bizarre scenes where he struck an opponent in a low blow.
While lying at the side of a ruck, Fahamokioa threw a punch directed at between the legs of Waikato number eight Jordan Manihera.
It all started when Manihera lay on top of the Wellington prop, and then looked to clip his opponent's head with his knee while returning to the ruck.
Fahamokioa retaliated by lashing out at Manihera's nether regions.
"He's punched him from the ground," said Sky TV commentator Jeff Wilson.
"What's he swung at there Tolu," added lead commentator Scotty Stevenson. "He's gone straight for the babymaker."
