A dazzling punt return by Jarryd Hayne has failed to inspire the San Francisco 49ers to a comeback against the Arizona Cardinals.
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a disastrous game in Arizona on Sunday, throwing four interceptions in the 49ers' 47-7 loss.
Hayne had few opportunities, but late in the second quarter he caught a punt on the run and took off down the right side of the field behind blockers for a 37-yard return that had his beleaguered team-mates on their feet congratulating the Australian.
