A furore has blown up around an ad offering to pay for "beer wenches" to serve male spectators at the historic Australia-New Zealand day-night test in Adelaide.
The controversial advertisement seeks young women who are "easy on the eye" and keen to line up for beer all day for a group of drunk blokes.
The ad on the popular Gumtree website was posted by a man named Nick on Monday but has since been deleted as people reacted to the "sexist and demeaning" content.
It offered attractive women the chance to "watch cricket with 20 handsome guys" for A$20 an hour at the first day-night test, starting in Adelaide on Friday.
The ad was slammed by Adelaide Oval officials, with a stadium management authority spokesman telling local newspaper The Advertiser: "The Adelaide Oval absolutely does not condone this kind of activity and there are rules on the responsible consumption of alcohol that are very clear to everyone throughout the venue and on our website.
