Volleyball: Volleyball captain out

A finger injury has forced New Zealand captain Patrick Stone to withdraw from the volleyball world championship Asian qualifying tournament starting in Wellington today.

Stone broke the little finger of his right hand during the South Pacific Challenge in Auckland last weekend. New Zealand are to play Fiji, Samoa and Tonga in Porirua in the first round of qualifying.
