Volleyball: NZ lose to Vietnam

New Zealand lost their first match of the Asian women's volleyball championships 0-3 to home team Vietnam yesterday.

New Zealand competed well in the first set, with some excellent blocking from Silver Ferns netballer Anna Scarlett and Sara Brown, before losing it 19-25. Vietnam took out the final two sets 25-7, 25-16.

New Zealand's next match is against Chinese-Taipei.
