If you've ever dreamed of entering a running event but can't be bothered training for anything and hate the very idea of running but would quite fancy a medal to show off, we've got the event for you.
A town in Texas, US, is hoting a 0.5km (yes, all of 500m) on May 5 and it is welcoming all "fellow underachievers".
Race entry costs NZ$35 with the event raising funds for Blessings in a Backpack, which provides foods at the weekend for underprivileged children.
If 0.5km sounds like too much hard work, you can pay an extra $35 to have a Volkswagen bus drive you the length of the course.
All event participants get a craft beer at the start and finish line, as well as a medal for their, hmm, efforts. It also includes a "donut & coffee" hydration station.
