Brooks Koepka claimed his fifth major and third PGA Championship in style.
After holding the 54-hole lead at the Masters and losing out to Jon Rahm in April, the LIV Golf player didn’t look back this time, dominating on the final day at Oak Hill to beat out Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler for victory by two shots.
The American shot his third straight round of 66 to claim his third PGA Championship title and joined the likes of Byron Nelson, Peter Thomson and Seve Ballesteros with five major victories, with two US Open victories also to his name.
Kiwi Ryan Fox finished just outside of the top 20 after carding a one-over 71 in the final round to finish at three-over for the tournament.
Fox, playing his first tournament since finishing T26 at the Masters, had four birdies and five bogeys on the final day missing two shots shy of a guaranteed visit next year. Fox did earn Special Temporary Membership for the remainder of the PGA Tour season.
