That said, the trend for major draws at huge events is considered to be disruptive from a business perspective.
This is not the first setback for UFC 206 however, as Tim Kennedy's bout against Rashad Evans was shelved after the Ontario Athletic Commission refused to license Evans based on a medical issue.
Though occasionally injuries to the major protagonists of a Fight Night have led to the event being cancelled, that is not expected to be the case here.
