Kiwi-born UFC middleweight sensation Robert Whittaker says he's 100 per cent ready for a world title shot and it appears champion Michael Bisping is happy to accommodate him.
Whittaker, on Thursday, was elevated three spots in the rankings to No.3 after his second-round stoppage in Kansas last weekend of Brazilian Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza, who previously held that spot.
"It's definitely one of the better performances I've had," Whittaker told AAP in Sydney on Thursday.
"I followed the game plan that me and my coaching staff had formulated weeks prior and drilled and trained relentlessly.
"We got a picture perfect result. The most exciting thing about it is that the plan went so flawlessly.
