The UFC have confirmed a lightweight bout between American Dashon Johnson and Australian Jake Matthews will be added to next month's fight card at Vector Arena in Auckland.
UFC Fight Night Auckland: Te Huna v Marquardt now features nine bouts following news last week that welterweights Neil Magny (10-3) and Claudio Henrique da Silva (10-1) will square off.
New Zealand's James Te Huna (16-7) will make his debut at middleweight in the five-round main event when he meets veteran American Nate Marquardt (35-13-2).
Johnson (9-0) and Matthews (4-0) will be putting their undefeated records on the line in Auckland on a card that now has a solid collection of fights.
Australian heavyweight Soa Palelei (21-3), who is ranked 15th by the UFC, will meet American Jared Rosholt (10-1), while the featherweight scrap between Japan's Hatsu Hioki (27-7-2) and Brazilian Charles Oliveira (17-4) should also be entertaining.
Speculation continues to mount that Auckland lightweight Dan Hooker will be on the card with American website The MMA Corner reporting that Hooker will meet Ian Entwistle (8-1), although the UFC have not confirmed it.
