UFC fighters ridicule Brock Lesnar over failed drug test

If anyone believes Brock Lesnar's claim that he is the innocent victim of a drug-testing mishap, his fellow UFC fighters are not among those in his corner.

A number of outspoken athletes have taken to Twitter after news of the 39-year-old's failed drug test surfaced on Friday, claiming the doping allegations are no shock to those in the know.

Lesnar released a statement on Sunday claiming he would "get to the bottom of this", and has been active in proclaiming his innocence since test results were published.

Lesnar was accused of using performance-enhancing drugs by Aussie fighter Mark Hunt before their heavyweight bout at UFC 200, claiming he was "juiced to the gills."

But the former WWE superstar shot down those accusations, saying there was nothing illegal that went into building his muscular physique.

"I'm a white boy and I'm jacked. Deal with it," Lesnar said days before UFC 200.

After Mark Hunt lost to the heavyweight on the UFC's biggest card of the year, it is currently unclear what the ramifications will be if Lesnar's additional samples also prove to be positive to PEDs.

Hunt has called for Lesnar to forfeit his earning from the fight, and even threatened to walk away from the franchise if the issue is not resolved appropriately.

"There's no freaking way it's (Lesnar's 'B' sample tests) not going to come back positive. I think he should either forfeit his purse or refund all the f***ing money to people who paid to watch it," he said.

"I've told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don't sort this out."
