Ronda Rousey is targeting a return to the octagon in December and will be better than ever according to her trainer.
The former UFC Women's Bantemweight champion had spent a grand total of two minutes and ten seconds inside the cage, until she was beaten and bloodied by Holly Holm last November.
Edmond Tarverdyan - who has worked with Rousey since she made her switch from judo to MMA - said the 29-year-old had been training for the last month following minor knee surgery, but did not give an exact date for a comeback.
'There have been talks about her coming back, but we haven't made a final decision yet,' he said to ESPN.
'There's a chance she fights to get her belt back this year, but nothing is set yet. If we do make a comeback this year, we will. If not we will make it next year. We want to thank all our fans for being patient.
