Ovince Saint Preux didn't win the fight, but he will have won over plenty of admirers.
The American went down to countryman Jon Jones at UFC 197 - the latter winning via a unanimous points decision in the five-round contest.
The fight didn't reach the great heights many expected given it featured Jones - the UFC's pound-for-pound champion - but that was understandable given he hadn't fought in 15 months following a stint on the sidelines after a hit-and-run incident last year that saw him stripped of his light-heavyweight title.
Saint Preux was reluctant to get his hands up during the fight, which is one of the reasons fans found the bout more boring than most. But after the clash it was revealed he had a pretty good excuse for not being at his best.
The 33-year-old reportedly broke his arm during the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The news was confirmed by UFC president Dana White in the post-fight press conference.
