It was some statement from the fighter ranked 10th in the heavyweight division and it comes with the endorsement of UFC president Dana White ringing in his ears.
White praised the 30-year-old, saying the Paris-based fighter will become a legend in his own right.
"Obviously, Arlovski is a legend in this sport, a legend in the heavyweight division," White told reporters. "Francis Ngannou will be.
"I believe that this guy has the potential to become the heavyweight champion of the world. I also believe he has the potential to hold that title for a very long time."
Not only does Ngannou have incredible power, but he stands 1.93m tall, ensuring his chin will be difficult to find. Many have already compared him to former UFC beast Brock Lesnar, but UFC president White says Ngannou stands alone as a rare specimen.
"I don't know if, in the history of the UFC, we've ever had a heavyweight champion like Ngannou, who actually looks like [that]," White said.
"If you put this guy Ngannou next to ... put him side to side with NFL players, put him side by side with the heavyweight boxing champions throughout history. This is a massive, massive guy."
Ngannou's devastating display against Arlovski is sure to see him climb the heavyweight rankings and edge closer to a title opportunity.
With the division looking for its next star, Ngannou is in a prime position to assume control and perhaps take the crown of heavyweight king.
It seems his KO of Arlovski has already won him many new fans, with social media full of praise for "The Predator".
