1. She is the first athlete of either gender to win titles in both boxing and mixed martial arts. After previously having won multiple world boxing titles, her victory over Rousey gave Holm the UFC women's bantamweight title.
2. Holm's father is a preacher. Roger Holm's occupation is as a Church of Christ preacher, which gave his daughter a nickname when she began her career - "The Preacher's Daughter".
3. Holm's talents aren't contained to just in the ring - she played soccer and participated in gymnastics, swimming and diving when younger, and was also a football team manager.
