And, fair to say, the two men couldn't believe what was in front of their eyes. The friends then burst out laughing, before proceeding to fist pump the 28-year-old Irishman.
McGregor clearly found the funny side of things, sharing a joke with the two friends, before laughing and pointing with the person filming the video.
Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, McGregor took to Instagram to post a photo of him next to Floyd Mayweather, just hours after claiming he would "break" the American's face and conquer the boxing world.
A fight between UFC's golden boy and the undefeated "Money" Mayweather has long been touted, with both men taking turns to call the other one out.
But McGregor fired the latest shot on his official Instagram account, posting a doctored picture of the two fighters, with the caption "I am going to break his face".
That post was soon followed by another of McGregor posing in nothing, but some skin-coloured underpants and a pair of black trainers.
To add to the surreal image, McGregor is posing in front of a "mutant" colour Lamborghini Aventador, captioning the photo: "always in shape".
Following his historic victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, McGregor was set to take a 10-month break, as he and girlfriend Dee Devlin are currently expecting their first child. However, the Dubliner has hinted at a possible return earlier than expected.
"As far as a break, I don't know," said McGregor. "I know Dana [White] has gone on record and said '10 months'.
"Originally, I thought the baby is being born in March, but it is May, so maybe I could get another one [fight] in, but I'm weighing up my options."
