Conor McGregor has taken a battering from fellow UFC stars after his defeat by Nate Diaz in Las Vegas.
McGregor is in a social media war with Jose Aldo and Rafael dos Anjos after Diaz finished him off in UFC 196 with a rear naked choke hold.
Aldo, who was smashed by McGregor in UFC 194, wants a re-match and tweeted: "Your fairy tale is over. You got nowhere to run now. Time to a rematch, p!@#$." Lightweight champion dos Anjos also made a disparaging remark about McGregor's ability.
But Irishman McGregor, who stepped up two weight divisions to fight welterweight Diaz, countered with a rambling response.
"I stormed in and put it all on the line. I took a shot and missed. I will never apologise for taking a shot," he said on Instagram.
