Conor McGregor is enjoying some time away from the octagon, but that hasn't stopped him from continuing to boast about his status as the sport's No 1.
McGregor, who is enjoying a rest following his convincing victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in New York, posted a picture to Instagram of him using a large wad of cash as a pretend telephone with the caption: "Hello I'd like to order some competition please I don't have any."
The double UFC champion was referring to his domination of the sport and the fact he is the only man in history to hold two separate belts at two different weights. That said, McGregor did receive one strong reply from Nate Diaz, a man who he has lost to in the past. In response to McGregor, Diaz posted a picture of the pair's bout with the captions: "I killed everyone on the roster".
Such is McGregor's confidence in his ability that after defeating Alvarez at Madison Square Garden, he demanded a share in the sport from UFC supremo Dana White.
