Kiwi light heavyweight James Te Huna will fight Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua in a UFC encounter in Brisbane on December 7, according to reports.
The undercard fight will precede the main event between fellow New Zealander Mark Hunt and Brazilian Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Sydney-based Te Huna was previously ranked in the top 10 amongst light heavyweights before May's defeat to Glover Teixeira in Las Vegas. The New Zealander goes into the December fight with a 16-6 record.
Rua, a former light heavyweight champion, has a 21-8 record but has suffered defeats in his last two bouts.
Fellow Kiwi Dylan Andrews, a middleweight who is based on the Gold Coast, knocked out Papy Abedi in the third round of their bout at UFC Fight Night 27 in Indianapolis last week and is also expected to be on the Brisbane card.
