New Zealand triathlete Samantha Warriner cruised to victory in this morning's seventh round of the BG Triathlon World Cup round in Salford, England.
The Commonwealth Games silver medallist, notched her seventh podium finish in the series after clocking two hours 04 minutes 28 seconds.
Behind her were Brazilian Mariana Ohata (2hr 04min 52sec) and fellow New Zealander Andrea Hewitt who timed 2hr 04min 56sec.
Warriner, who finished third in the previous round on July 10 in Edmonton, Canada, and Hewitt had a good 1500m swim, coming out of the water in an eight-strong group led by Briton Anneliese Heard.
The group pushed hard in the cycle leg to build a two-minute lead over the rest of the field by the end of 40km.
Warriner and Hewitt made their moves in the run leg, breaking away in the first kilometre and ran together for the next two laps.
Warriner upped her pace after 7km and Hewitt was unable to go with her.
Ohata eventually overtook a fading Hewitt with less then a kilometre left.
