Kiwi triathlete Andrea Hewitt will continue competing in 2017.
After finishing seventh at the recent Rio Olympics there was speculation around her future but the 34 year old plans to compete in this year's ITU and WTS series'.
Meanwhile, Triathlon New Zealand are still working to solidify the make up of their High Performance programme following budget cuts.
Their funding plan for coach and athlete support should be finalised in March.
