Kiwi triathlete Andrea Hewitt is hoping to continue her hot start to 2017 in this weekend's ITU World Cup event in New Plymouth.
Fresh off a last-start win in Abu Dhabi Hewitt is clearly in good for as she prepares for her home race.
The soon-to-be 35-year-old is doing a few things a little differently this year and it appears to be working.
"It was a perfect start to the season really," Hewitt said. "I went overseas in February so I started the season a little bit earlier than previously.
"I went to the Caribbean and raced in Antigua and Barbuda so that was a cool experience and a good heat training block a week before going to Abu Dhabi.
