Andrea Hewitt has finished on the podium in her return to the world triathlon series.
Hewitt's come home third on the Gold Coast in her first major race since the passing of her fiance and coach Laurent Vidal.
She's been pipped on the line by reigning world champion Gwen Jorgensen, with the pair finishing 40 seconds behind the winner, Great Britain's Helen Jenkins.
Hewitt broke clear on the bike with Jenkins and Bermuda's Flora Duffy and says he legs were a bit wobbly on the run.
"I tried a bit early on the sprint, but that was the tactic I took today," Hewitt said.
