New Zealander Bevan Docherty has won the ITU World Cup triathlon in Edmonton, Canada, today (NZT).
The Olympic Games bronze and silver medalist sealed his win over a strong field with a superb run.
It was the second time Docherty has tasted victory at the Edmonton course after winning in 2007, the last time the event was held.
"This course seems to treat me well, I enjoy racing here," the 34-year-old told the Edmonton Journal.
"I guess this is very similar to New Zealand weather, so I'm used to it.
"The reality is I'm starting to hit some good shape and I'm just happy with how things are going."
