Australia's Courtney Atkinson enjoyed his fifth World Cup victory as Japan's Juri Ide posted her first at the Ishigaki Island triathlon yesterday.
Ide, Asian Cup winner in 2006 and 2007, covered the 1.5km swim in 18:16, 40km bike ride in 1:10:35 and 10km run in 34:40 for a combined time of 2:03:32.
Kathy Tremblay of Canada was second in 2:03:37, followed by Kiyomi Niwata of Japan third in 2:03:54.
New Zealand's Nicky Samuels was eighth in 2:05.38.
