New Zealand triathletes Terenzo Bozzone and Jo Lawn finished first and second respectively in the elite men's and elite women's sections of a Kansas half ironman event in the United States overnight (NZ time).
Bozzone clocked a winning time of 3 hours 56 minutes 6 seconds.
In the women's elite event, Lawn was just 29 seconds short of victory with an overall time of 4:19:32.
