An investigation into what left the son of a former All Black semi-paralysed after a rugby match will be revealed tomorrow.
David Thorne, 20, son of former mid-field All Black Grahame Thorne, has been left unable to speak after suffering a suspected stroke following a match in Motueka on May 4.
The Tasman Rugby Union was set to announce the findings into what caused David Thorne's collapse today, but a union spokesperson said it had been delayed until tomorrow to give the investigation more time given the short notice.
Post match reports suggest Thorne, playing for Waimea, was grabbed from behind by his headgear and dragged to the ground.
He continued to play, but later that night complained of feeling unwell and had numbness in his arm and leg before collapsing.
