Tony Veitch and Michael Guerin discuss Kane Williamson's incredible year, Sri Lanka's crazy batting and Same Cane's captaincy credentials.
On Sri Lanka's batting:
Veitch: Sri Lanka lost 10/62, that wasn't a game of test cricket, what the heck were they doing?
Guerin: It was interesting, that groundsman should do all the tests in New Zealand.
Veitch: Hasn't it made test cricket interesting, when you see batsmen having to jump around all the time.
On Kane Williamson:
Veitch: The only person in the history of the game who has scored a similar amount of runs with a better average is a bloke called Sachin Tendulkar. Otherwise, Williamson is beating every great in the game.
On Sam Cane:
Guerin: Tony believes that Sam Cane is going to captain the All Blacks next year. Where does this come from?
Veitch: I have a theory that they're going to look at him as the long-term option for the All Blacks.
Guerin: And what, Kieran Read is going to be kidnapped by martians?
Veitch: I think there are still concerns about Kieran Read as a player and therefore a captain.
