Cane was top tackler for the All Blacks with eight tackles, two assists and just one miss. Ma'a Nonu and Cruden were the next best both with six tackles and one assist, with no misses.
The All Blacks only had to make 53 tackles with 22 assists in this test, and just 17 of those 53 tackles had to be made inside their own 22. The All Blacks missed just six tackles, with only two misses in the first half.
In comparison Argentina had to make 123 tackles and missed 29 of them. Their first-five Nicolas Sanchez was their top tackler with 12, but also missed the most tackles with a total of eight. Halfback Martin Landajo and Number 8 Juan Manuel Leguizamon both made 11 tackles and missed just one each.
The All Blacks won all but one of their 13 lineouts (the one loss being an overthrow by Andrew Hore), with Whitelock the top jumper with five from five takes, followed by Kieran Read with three from three. The All Blacks also took three quick throw-ins in this game.
Argentina lost three of their 16 lineouts, with Aaron Smith taking an overthrow in the first half while in the second half Whitelock and Steven Luatua both stole throws at the front of the lineout.
Scrums were a little problematic with the All Blacks conceding a free kick and a penalty from two of their five scrums in the first half, and conceding a penalty on Argentina's feed in the second half. However they did manage to push through an Argentina scrum feed in the second half to win possession.
The penalty count against the All Blacks was high with 12 penalties conceded in total, and five of those coming in the first 17 minutes of the game. Only three of the All Blacks' penalties were conceded in their own 22. Argentina conceded just seven penalties in this game.
The All Blacks made just nine handling errors in this test, with the first one not coming until the 28th minute of the first half. Julian Savea made the most errors with four knock-ons, while Aaron Smith made two passing errors including throwing one pass directly into touch.
