Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris has been passed fit to play the third cricket test against England.
Harris was in doubt after injuring his right shoulder during Australia's crushing loss to England in the second test in Adelaide.
But scans have cleared the Queensland quick of any damage, Australia's team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said today.
"He is expected to be available for selection in for the third test in Perth," Kountouris said, describing Harris' injury as minor.
"He was able to bowl during the game unrestricted and scans have cleared him of any significant damage."
Australia must make at least one forced change for the third test, with opening batsman Simon Katich out of the Ashes series with an achilles tendon tear.
But the selectors would make as many as four changes, with spinner Xavier Doherty, batsman Marcus North and pacemen Doug Bollinger and Peter Siddle feeling pressure following poor performances during the Adelaide test, which Australia lost by an innings and 71 runs.
Left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Johnson appears certain to win a recall after being ordered to miss a Sheffield Shield game starting on Friday.
