Top seed and defending champion Rafael Nadal progressed through to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon today after a hard fought four set win over Juan Martin Del Potro.
Nadal was pushed by the 24th seed and former US Open champion winning 7-6, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 in 232 minutes.
Nadal will face American Mardy Fish in the quarterfinals after the 10th seed defeated sixth seed Tomas Berdych in straight sets.
Elsewhere second seed Novak Djokovic will face Australian teenager Bernard Tomic in the final eight with both players winning their fourth round matches in straight sets.
Roger Federer dropped the first set to 18th seed Mikhail Youzhny before winning 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 and will face 12th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the quarterfinals.
British hope Andy Murray also advanced to the quarterfinals with a straight sets win over France's Richard Gasquet.
