Third seed Yanina Wickmayer brushed off the challenge of Japanese wildcard Kimiko Date-Krumm in Auckland's the ASB Classic.
20 year old Wickmayer will face Israeli Shahar Peer in the semifinals tommorow after overwhelming her opponent 6-26-2 on centre court at the ASB Tennis Centre.
For Date Krumm, her oppnentts agility and powerful serve was too strong to counter for the Asian player who had 19 years on the much younger Wickmayer.
The Belgian has yet to drop a set in three matches against unseeded opposition this week.
