Tennis: Venue will be 'tournament ready'

Tennis Auckland is confident facilities will be up to standard in time for the ASB Classic and Heineken Open next month.

From the outside the new look ASB Tennis Centre appears nowhere near completion.

However Tennis Auckland CEO Greg Bramwell says the venue will be "tournament ready".

He says driving past the centre the view is quite misleading and when people enter into the venue they'll get a pleasant surprise.

But Greg Bramwell says the facility won't be fully completed until June next year.
