New Zealand face an uphill battle to avoid serious embarrassment in the Davis Cup tennis tie against Kazakhstan.
The kiwis head into today's doubles rubber 2-nil down, after Adam Thompson and Dan King Turner were both beaten in the opening singles matches.
New Zealand veteran Alistair Hunt will now team up with King-Turner late this afternoon, needing to win to keep the tie alive.
