KEY POINTS:
The Caro Bowl tennis finals tonight feature some of the country's best talent and some big personal battles as top qualifiers from round robin play Parnell and Mangere Combined host the men's and women's finals respectively.
The Parnell men are aiming for their third title in a row and are slight favourites against West End who last won the title in 2004. Mangere, who also won in 2004, are probably the stronger team in the women's clash against Royal Oak.
Both finals will start with doubles.
The West End combination of Wesley Whitehouse and James Greenhalgh will want to beat Simon Rea and Matt Prentice. Alistair Hunt and Steve Downs look the stronger combination against Martin Colenbrander and Teo Susnjak. Jacob Olsen is the Parnell singles specialist.
All players have been professionals, with South African Whitehouse adding an extra dimension to the competition.
Mangere last played Royal Oak in round one of the women's competition, winning 4-2. Mangere have the steady combination of Lucy Barlow and former international Tracey O'Connor in the top-two positions and Shelley Bryce at three while Royal Oak will rely on highly regarded junior Abigail Guthrie in the top singles.
