Top-seeded Italian Flavia Pennetta maintained her record of not having dropped her serve this week to ease past Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova in their ASB Classic tennis quarterfinal today.
Pennetta, the world No 12, won a one-sided match contest in Auckland against the 28th ranked Cibulkova 6-1 6-2.
She will face the winner of tonight's quarterfinal between compatriot and No 4 seed Francesca Schiavone and unseeded Frenchwoman Alize Cornet.
