New Zealand No 2 Rubin Statham has been granted the third and final wildcard for the Heineken Open tennis tournament starting in Auckland on Monday.
Melbourne-based Statham, 20, had a solid 2007 when he improved his world ranking 300 places to 560. He reached the semifinals of four Futures events last year, as well as five quarter-finals.
