New Zealand's Artem Sitak enjoyed one of the most memorable wins of his tennis career when he teamed with American Eric Butorac to beat former US Open champion Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish in the quarter-finals of the Atlanta ATP tournament today.
Roddick came out of retirement to team with Fish, a former top 10 player, but they went down 7-5 6-2 in 67 minutes. Sitak and Butorac will now face Gilles Muller (Luxembourg) and Colin Fleming (Britain) in the semifinals.
"Playing Roddick was an amazing experience," Sitak said. "I have never faced a serve like that, but we played really well as a team and took a few chances we had.
"The stadium was full and sections was against us, but I really enjoy those situations. Now we are going to try to build on that win and play well in semifinals too."
