Another day, another win for Marcus Daniell and Artem Sitak in Mexico as the Kiwi pair have raced their way into the semifinals of the US$75,000 Leon Challenger.
The second seeded Kiwi team scored a straight set win over Marcelo Arevaldo (El Salvador) and Peruvian Sergio Galdos 6-2 6-3 in under an hour.
Their potential opponents in the semifinals are likely to be the world's fastest server, Australian Sam Groth and former doubles No.1 and multiple Grand Slam winner Leander Paes of India.
Meanwhile New Zealand singles No.1 Finn Tearney has won his way in to the quarterfinals at the Japan Futures after a straight set win over a local opponent. In doubles Tearney and countryman Ben McLachlan are through to the semifinals.
